Bihar government announces recruitment for medical and food corporation roles

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced multiple recruitment drives for various government positions in Bihar, India.

The Health Department of Bihar is seeking applications for 118 tenure-based posts for Senior Residents and Tutors in state medical and dental colleges and hospitals. These three-year positions offer a Level-09 pay matrix plus allowances. Online registration for these roles began on August 25, 2026, and will close on September 8, 2026.

Additionally, the Bihar State Food & Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (BSFC) is recruiting for 259 positions. Vacancies include Assistant Manager, Assistant Accounts Officer, Accountant, Quality Controller, and Lower Division Clerk. Selection will be determined through a written examination to form a merit panel. The application window for BSFC roles is open from August 25, 2026, until September 24, 2026.
