Bihar Public Service Commission opens recruitment for 32,388 teaching posts

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has launched the online application process for the fourth phase of the School Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 4.0). The recruitment drive aims to fill 32,388 teaching positions within government schools under the Bihar Education Department.

The vacancies are distributed across various grade levels: 3,847 posts for Classes 1 to 5, 8,563 posts for Classes 6 to 8, 3,877 posts for Classes 9 and 10, and 16,101 posts for Classes 11 and 12. The largest number of openings is designated for teachers of Classes 11 and 12.

Online applications and fee payments begin on September 25, 2026. Candidates must complete their fee payments by October 25, 2026, while the final deadline for submitting online applications is October 26, 2026. The official examination date has not yet been announced.
