The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released an updated exam calendar for 2026, providing key dates for several recruitment processes in the state.

The preliminary examination for the Project Manager position under the Bihar Industries Service Cadre is tentatively scheduled for 4 October 2026. This recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. 109/2025 for the Industries Department.

Additionally, the 72nd BPSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) preliminary exam is now set for 25 October 2026, following a previous postponement from July. This recruitment cycle involves 1,189 posts. The calendar also notes that the 71st BPSC CCE main examination is proposed for August-September 2026, covering 1,298 posts.
