Bihar School Examination Board opens STET 2026 registration
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has opened the online registration process for the 2026 Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET). For Paper 1 (Classes 9-10), applicants must hold a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject and a B.Ed qualification. Certain reserved categories, including SC, ST, EBC, and BC, are eligible for a 5% relaxation in educational requirements.
The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. It consists of 150 objective questions totaling 150 marks, with no negative marking. The structure includes 100 marks for the main subject and 50 marks covering the art of teaching and general ability. Application fees vary by category, ranging from Rs 760 to Rs 960 for a single paper.
