Bihar releases D. El. Ed 2026 first merit list and cut-off

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the first merit list, cut-off list, and allotment letters for the 2026-28 Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) programme. Eligible candidates can access these documents via the official BSEB D. El. Ed website starting August 27, 2026.

Data from the first round of allotments indicates high competition for specific subjects. While the minimum qualifying marks are set at 42 for the General category and 36 for reserved categories, Unreserved Science seats at several institutes, such as DIET Forbesganj, have seen cut-off scores exceeding 80 marks.

Candidates who are allotted a lower-priority institute but wish to be considered for higher-priority options may utilize the Slide-Up option. This process is available through the student login portal between August 27 and August 31, 2026, allowing movement within previously selected preferences.
