Bihor County Council launches tender for Vașcău youth center

The Bihor County Council has launched a tender for the construction of a County Center for School and Vocational Orientation, which will include a youth recreation and camp center in Câmp, Vașcău. The estimated value for the execution of works is between 10.86 million lei and 12.49 million lei, excluding VAT.

The project, located on the site of a former school, will consist of two main buildings: one for accommodation featuring nine rooms for students and staff, and a primary building for administrative, educational, and recreational activities. The facility will include dining areas, a medical office, and spaces for daytime activities. The center is designed to support students and preschoolers through recreational programs, vocational guidance, and initiatives to prevent school dropout.

The total investment is valued at approximately 14.55 million lei, including VAT. Funding is provided through the North-West Regional Program under the ‘An Educated Region’ priority, managed by the North-West Regional Development Agency. The financing includes 10.65 million lei from European funds and 3.90 million lei from the Bihor County Council. The winning bidder will have 24 months to complete the project.
