Bihor former school director indicted for sexual assault

A 61-year-old former school director in Bihor, Romania, has been indicted and placed in preventive arrest for four counts of sexual assault against minors. The prosecutor's office reported that the crimes allegedly occurred between 2024 and 2026, targeting three students aged 13 and 14.

The indictment states the acts took place within educational facilities, both during classes and in the director's office. In two instances, the suspect reportedly summoned students to his office under the pretext of testing sportswear. The legal classification of the crimes accounts for the authority relationship between the educator and the victims. The case has been forwarded to the Aleșd Court.
