Bijnor: Three killed after being allegedly crushed by tractor
A violent dispute near a liquor shop in Jamaluddin village, located in the Chandpur area of Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, resulted in the deaths of three individuals. According to reports, the victims—identified as Udayveer (60), Babu (40), and Mahendra—were allegedly crushed by a tractor following a confrontation between two groups.
Family members of the deceased have alleged that the incident was a deliberate act of murder rather than an accident. They claim the tractor driver, identified as Virendra, drove the vehicle over the victims twice. One relative alleged that the tractor was reversed and then driven forward to crush the individuals.
The driver, Virendra, sustained injuries in the incident and claimed he was returning from servicing the tractor when someone threw a stone at him, causing him to lose memory of the subsequent events. Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination and are investigating the matter to determine whether the incident was a targeted attack or an accident.
