Bila building collapse injures several people in Kafr El Sheikh

A three-story building collapsed in the city of Bila, Kafr El Sheikh governorate, resulting in several injuries. Civil protection forces and rescue teams were deployed to the scene to clear debris and search for any individuals potentially trapped under the rubble.

Kafr El Sheikh Governor Ibrahim Makki visited the site to monitor rescue operations and ensure the security of the surrounding area. Reports indicate that between four and five people sustained injuries in the incident; all were treated by medical teams and transported to hospitals for care. No fatalities have been reported.

Authorities are conducting an engineering and technical inspection to determine the cause of the collapse and to check if the building had prior orders for renovation or demolition. The governor has directed officials to provide urgent aid to affected families and to ensure that neighboring buildings are structurally sound and compliant with safety regulations.
