Turkey leaders discuss regional diplomacy and security at National Will Meeting

At the 18th National Will Meeting held at the TÜRGEV building, Bilal Erdoğan and Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi addressed regional stability and domestic security.

Bilal Erdoğan, President of the World Ethnosport Union, emphasized that Turkey's 'Century of Turkey' vision extends beyond economic prosperity to include cultural diplomacy. He argued that strengthening ties within the Turkic world and the Islamic sphere is essential for regional strength and preventing manipulation by external forces. He noted that Turkey must be strong to avoid being a spectator to global injustices and conflicts.

Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi reported on security achievements, stating that 640 leaders or members of organized crime groups from 42 different countries have been extradited to Turkey via Interpol this year. He also detailed a cybercrime operation following an incident in Kahramanmaraş, which led to 2,119 detentions and 243 arrests. To enhance educational safety, Çiftçi announced the creation of 31,000 new school security positions, with 25,000 already active.
