Bilal Hasan rises in MMA with Michael Jackson-inspired UFC debut

Bilal Hasan, a 25-year-old MMA fighter, has gained significant attention following his UFC debut in Shanghai. Hasan secured a second-round knockout victory against Nilson Rojas, showcasing a high finishing rate that has seen him knock out nine of his ten opponents.

Hasan, who is of Indonesian origin but was raised in Hawaii and Washington, has integrated his lifelong passion for Michael Jackson into his professional persona. He is known for performing dance moves, such as the moonwalk and choreography to ‘Billie Jean’, during or after his bouts.

Before his professional success, Hasan studied Health Studies at the University of Washington and worked various jobs, including as a security guard and receptionist. His unique combination of technical skill in the flyweight division and his distinct personality has rapidly grown his social media following.
