Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says Pakistan's system was deliberately weakened

Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari told a public gathering in Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, that the country's political system has not failed on its own but has been "made to fail" through deliberate actions. He urged political forces to address root causes via dialogue, supporting the creation of new provinces only if backed by popular will.

Bilawal criticised the ruling Pakistan Muslim League‑Nawaz, alleging internal factions are creating divisions between the prime minister and coalition partners, and warned that the federal government in Islamabad faces growing political pressure. He highlighted prolonged internet shutdowns and road closures in Azad Kashmir, calling for a Truth and Reconciliation Commission and urging both protesters and authorities to suspend actions until a resolution is reached.
