Bilawal Bhutto Zardari warns of withholding PPP support for PML-N government

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced that his party will withhold support and legislative cooperation for the PML-N-led government until its concerns are addressed. Key issues cited include the upcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections and previous political agreements made prior to the election of the prime minister.

Zardari emphasized that the PPP would not participate in government legislation unless its reservations are met, though he noted the party might still cooperate on matters of national importance. He called for political parties to engage in dialogue and utilize parliamentary standing committees to resolve differences and drive electoral reforms.

Regarding provincial boundaries, Zardari stated the PPP would not support the forced imposition of new provinces. While noting a consensus exists regarding the creation of a separate South Punjab province, he clarified that the party opposes creating new provinces in Sindh where there is no public or political consensus.
