Bilawal Bhutto Zardari warns PTI regarding Imran Khan’s imprisonment

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) that unless they abandon extremist politics and boycotts, Imran Khan’s imprisonment could be extended. Zardari noted that if the current political strategy continues, Khan might surpass the record for time spent in prison held by Asif Ali Zardari.

Zardari emphasized that while political fortunes in Pakistan often shift from prison to power, PTI must change its political approach to find a path back to governance. He also criticized the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for pursuing negative politics, mentioning that while the federal government recently considered declaring an emergency in the province, implementing Governor’s Rule remains a final option.

Additionally, Zardari addressed the issue of demands for a new province, criticizing the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). He challenged MQM leaders to visit various cities and ask citizens directly if they desire a separate province, questioning the party's standing given its inability to win local council seats.
