Bilbao man arrested after stabbing victim with bottle neck

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in the Abandono neighborhood of Bilbao following a violent altercation in the early hours of Thursday morning.

According to emergency services, a fight broke out between a 24-year-old man and a 26-year-old man. During the confrontation, a third individual intervened using the neck of a bottle to strike the 24-year-old in the face.

The victim was transported to Hospital de Cruces for medical treatment. Police have detained the 23-year-old suspect on suspicion of causing injuries, while the other two individuals involved are being investigated for less serious injury offenses.
