Bilbao protesters call for end to prisoner and exile issue

During the Aste Nagusia festivities in Bilbao, a demonstration was held calling for an end to the issue of prisoners, exiles, and deportees. The march was organized by the Sarek collective alongside local groups.

Speakers at the event, including Bego Atxa from Sare, emphasized the goal of seeking legal exemptions to allow prisoners held in the Basque Country to move from closed regimes to open ones. Participants marched toward the City Hall carrying banners with the slogan “Helmuga, denak etxera” (Destination, everyone home).
