Bildein hosts picture on festival with international musical acts

The picture on festival took place in Bildein, Burgenland, from August 6 to 8, transforming the town into a festival village. Organizers reported a peaceful event without significant incidents, thanking the local community, police, the Red Cross, and the volunteer fire department for their cooperation.

The musical lineup featured a mix of international, Austrian, and Hungarian acts. Notable performers on the main stage included the Jamaican reggae group Inner Circle, the British band Stereo MCs, the Berlin electropop duo 2Raumwohnung, and the crossover bands H-Blockx and Clawfinger. The Apple Garden stage hosted Austrian acts such as 5/8erl in Ehr’n and Wiener Blond, alongside Hungarian musicians including Mad about Marilyn and Gergő from Ocho Macho.

The festival relies heavily on volunteerism, with a core team of 30 people managing year-round planning and a workforce of approximately 500 volunteers during the event weekend. These volunteers assisted with catering, entry, camping, backstage operations, and setup/teardown. The event was attended by several political and cultural figures, including regional leadership from Burgenland.
