Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University sets priorities for Pazaryeri Vocational School

Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University (BŞEÜ) held an academic board meeting to determine priorities for the 2026-2027 academic year at the Pazaryeri Vocational School. Chaired by Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Asım Kaplancıklı, the meeting included university vice-rectors, the general secretary, and faculty members.

The agenda focused on enhancing educational activities, strengthening academic and scientific research, improving physical facilities, and diversifying student activities. Director Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Behlül Ersoy provided updates on current academic work and planned institutional developments, emphasizing applied training, internships, and field collaborations.

Rector Kaplancıklı highlighted the importance of communication between students, administrative staff, and academics to foster institutional belonging. He specifically encouraged students to engage with support programs such as TÜBİTAK, ÜNİDES, and the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program (GİP) to develop professional skills and a project-oriented culture. Additionally, the board discussed aligning academic programs with the needs of society and industry in accordance with Higher Education Council (YÖK) guidelines.
