Bilecik Mayor promotes city during visit to Bulgaria

Bilecik Mayor Melek Mızrak Subaşı visited the Plovdiv-Rhodope Municipality in Bulgaria to promote the city of Bilecik and strengthen cooperation between the two regions. During the visit, Subaşı presented information regarding the activities and production potential of Bilecik, highlighting its resources in marble, ceramics, and silk.

Subaşı held meetings with Deputy Governor Rangel Matanski and Consul General Emre Yaman to discuss shared history, culture, and values. Discussions also focused on potential joint projects and economic collaborations aimed at strengthening the economies of both cities. Additionally, the Mayor met with representatives of non-governmental organizations and visited local historical and cultural sites to foster Turkish-Bulgarian friendship.
