Bill and Tom Kaulitz reveal intoxicated appearance on children's TV
Musicians Bill and Tom Kaulitz, members of the band Tokio Hotel, revealed in their new format ‘Zugabe im Tokio Hotel’ that they appeared on the ARD children's program ‘Sendung mit der Maus’ while intoxicated.
According to the twins, the appearance followed an MTV aftershow party. They noted that they arrived at the filming without any sleep and were heavily under the influence of alcohol, though they claimed no one noticed at the time. The twins recalled that during their youth, they were able to recover from such nights and hangovers more easily than they do now.
While the exact date of the incident was not specified, the brothers noted they were guests on ‘Frag doch mal die Maus’ in November 2007, at which time they had recently turned 18.
