Kaulitz twins to host Wetten, dass..? comeback in Halle

Bill and Tom Kaulitz, members of the band Tokio Hotel, are set to host a special edition of the traditional German entertainment show ‘Wetten, dass..?’ on December 5, 2026. The event will take place at the Halle Messe Arena, which accommodates approximately 2,600 spectators.

The announcement has generated significant interest, with the ZDF broadcaster reporting a record-breaking 250,000 ticket requests, far exceeding previous editions that typically saw requests in the mid-five-figure range.

While the casting has faced some criticism, show creator Frank Elstner defended the decision, noting that the brothers are global stars and suggesting that audiences should wait to see the performance before judging. Additionally, moderator Markus Lanz expressed support for the duo, suggesting their unconventional and ‘anarchic’ style is appropriate for the show's return.
