Her appearance follows recent controversies regarding her potential involvement with the UNC football program. While reports had speculated that Hudson held administrative authority or acted as a general manager, Belichick dismissed these claims in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, calling the reports a “flat-out lie” and describing the notion of her managing the team as “ridiculous.”

Hudson has attended the last two UNC games, appearing alongside Belichick as they maintained a united front despite the ongoing speculation.
