Bill Belichick denies rumors of girlfriend's role at UNC

Bill Belichick, the 74-year-old head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels, has dismissed rumors regarding his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, having an official role in the football program. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Belichick described claims that Hudson is attempting to act as the team’s general manager as “ridiculous” and a “flat-out lie.”

The controversy stems from reports that Hudson, 25, has been present at practices and that Belichick requested university communications staff copy her on certain emails. Belichick clarified that the email request was intended solely to coordinate his personal appearances and external commitments, such as television and radio shows, rather than university business. He stated that the leaked information created a misunderstanding regarding her involvement with the football program.
