Bill Belichick urges UNC to refocus after Duke victory

North Carolina football head coach Bill Belichick addressed the team's recent 24-20 victory over Duke, noting that while the Victory Bell celebration was a “great moment,” the team must quickly refocus on their upcoming game against Syracuse.

Belichick emphasized the importance of a weekly reset cycle, stating that players and coaches must “empty the tank” during games and then carefully rebuild for the following week to avoid shortcuts that could negatively impact performance. He also noted that Syracuse appears to be a better team than their current record suggests.

Following the win, linebacker Peyton Seelmann was named the ACC Linebacker of the Week after recording 16 tackles during the matchup.
