Bill Clinton campaigns in Florida for Democrat David Jolly

Former President Bill Clinton visited Pembroke Park, Florida, to campaign for Democratic gubernatorial nominee David Jolly. The visit occurred as early voting commenced for the race to succeed term-limited Republican Governor Ron DeSantis.

Jolly faces Republican U.S. Representative Byron Donalds in the election. While some polls indicate Donalds holds an 8-point lead, other data suggests a tighter contest, noting Jolly’s progress among Latino voters. The high-profile support from Clinton, and the anticipated involvement of Hillary Clinton, signals Democratic efforts to bolster Jolly’s campaign in the final weeks of the cycle.
