Bill Simmons bans Peter Schrager from his podcast

Media personality Bill Simmons announced on his podcast that ESPN’s Peter Schrager is “banned” from appearing on his show. The decision follows reports that Schrager declined or did not respond to multiple invitations to appear on The Bill Simmons Podcast, only to subsequently appear on Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take.

During the episode, Simmons expressed frustration, stating that Schrager is now on his “shit list” and “in the shit house.” Simmons noted that he even used the situation as part of a betting parlay regarding the San Francisco 49ers. While the comments were delivered with a level of banter, Simmons suggested that Schrager would need to “really make it up” to regain his standing.

Schrager is currently promoting his new ESPN program, Big Day with Peter Schrager. Co-host Joe House joined the discussion to joke about how Schrager might attempt to make amends.
