BILLA to Modernize Stores in Strakonice and Olomouc

Two BILLA supermarkets in the Czech towns of Strakonice and Olomouc will close for extensive renovations in August. The Strakonice store on Na Ohradě 2 will shut from 5 August, while the Olomouc outlet on 8 May will close from 12 August. Both are scheduled to reopen in the first half of September.

During the works, shoppers can use a second BILLA shop in Strakonice (Nádražní street) and alternative BILLA locations in Olomouc (Hynaisova, Jeremiášova, Pavlovická and Dobnerova). The refreshed stores will feature a new retail concept with clearer product layout, brighter design, self‑service checkout lanes, energy‑saving LED lighting, modern refrigeration and heat‑recovery systems, as well as a deli counter and more than 9 000 items, including 28 private‑label Czech brands.
