Billionaires advocate for global minimum wealth tax

A new documentary titled ‘Tax Me!’ explores a movement of ultra-wealthy individuals, referred to as ‘patriotic millionaires,’ who are calling for increased taxes on their own wealth to combat tax evasion and fund public welfare. The film examines the ‘Zucman Proposal’ presented to the G-20, which advocates for a 2% global minimum tax on the world's approximately 3,000 billionaires. This measure could potentially generate $250 billion annually for public treasuries in major economies. The documentary features insights from economist Gabriel Zucman and various heirs and magnates who argue for structural justice over traditional charity.
