Billy Baldwin names Sharon Stone as co-star he refused to kiss

Actor Billy Baldwin has identified Sharon Stone as the co-star he refused to kiss on camera, stating he will “never, ever work with” her again. Speaking on the “Lisa Guerrero Unleashed” podcast, Baldwin detailed the tension that occurred during the filming of the 1993 erotic thriller “Sliver.”

Baldwin claimed that after an initial period of getting along, Stone stopped acknowledging him for three months, creating a miserable environment on set. He alleged that the discomfort led him to request a meeting with producers to declare he could not film the final love scene unless he was permitted to avoid kissing her. He noted that this refusal contributed to the film’s iconic scene involving a support column.

Additionally, Baldwin challenged accounts from Stone’s 2021 memoir, “The Beauty of Living Twice.” While Stone previously claimed that producer Robert Evans pressured her to sleep with Baldwin to improve his acting, Baldwin asserted that Evans gave him the same suggestion, citing “pent-up sexual energy tension” as the reason for the producer's intervention.
