Billy Crystal debuts Broadway one-man show ‘860’ at Imperial Theatre

Comedian and actor Billy Crystal has returned to Broadway with a new one-man show titled ‘860’, performing at the Imperial Theatre. The production is named after the Chautauqua Boulevard address of his home in the Pacific Palisades, which was destroyed during the Los Angeles wildfires on January 7, 2025.

Directed by Scott Ellis with set design by Scott Pask, the show utilizes a detailed recreation of Crystal’s former home office. Through a series of flashbacks and video design by Hana S. Kim and Kylee Loera, Crystal recounts the experience of fleeing the fires with his wife, Janice, and reflects on the loss of his home and personal memorabilia.

While the subject matter addresses the devastation of the wildfire and the deaths of close collaborators such as Robin Williams and Muhammad Ali, the performance is described as a blend of humor and storytelling. Crystal uses his background as a storyteller to process the loss of his property and the memories associated with his career and community.
