Billy Strings debuts new covers on New England tour and sells out Bethel Woods shows
Grammy‑winning bluegrass star Billy Strings opened his recent New England tour stop at Hartford’s PeoplesBank Arena with several song debuts and shared vocal duties, including a 10‑minute rendition of “Home,” the first performance of Grandpa Jones’ “It’s Raining Here This Morning” since July 2023, and new covers of Carter Family and Elmer Russell material.
The artist’s back‑to‑back concerts at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in New York are effectively sold out through primary channels. Last‑minute tickets are still available on resale sites such as Vivid Seats, SeatGeek and StubHub, with prices as low as $55 for single‑night entries and around $100 for the other night. The shows are scheduled for Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1, 2026, and will be followed by additional tour dates in Fishers, Ionia, Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego and Austin. Strings’ recent albums have earned multiple Grammy Awards, and his 2025 studio release “Highway Prayers” topped Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.
