Billy Zane and Kevin Chapman cast in creature feature ‘Wekiwa’

Actors Billy Zane, Kevin Chapman, and C. S. Lee have joined Alex Trumble in the cast of ‘Wekiwa’, an original creature feature film. The project is written and directed by Oscar-winning sound veteran Richard L. Anderson, known for his work on ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’.

Set in the summer of 1983, the story follows a showman who has invested his resources into a resort on a Florida island. The plot involves a British documentary director, a group of performers, and a marine biologist investigating a lagoon. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in early September in the Orlando area.

Salomé Breziner and Scott Rosenfelt are serving as producers for the film.
