Biltmore Championship Asheville to debut at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove

The inaugural Biltmore Championship Asheville is scheduled to take place from September 17 to September 20, 2026, at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in Asheville, North Carolina. This event marks the PGA Tour’s return to Asheville for the first time since 1942.

As part of the FedExCup Fall series, the tournament features a 144-player field competing for a $5 million purse. The winner will earn 500 FedExCup Fall points and 25 Official World Golf Ranking points. The field includes notable players such as Justin Thomas, Jackson Koivun, Jacob Bridgeman, and J.T. Poston. Some participants are using the event as preparation for the upcoming Presidents Cup.

Because The Cliffs at Walnut Cove is a new venue for the PGA Tour, the course presents an unfamiliar layout for the field. The mountain course is expected to emphasize shot-making due to elevation changes and complex greens.
