BİM expands reforestation project with 3 million drone-planted seeds

BİM is launching the third phase of its tree seeding project in collaboration with Ecording, aiming to plant an additional 3 million seeds using drone technology across Turkey. This expansion will bring the total number of seeds distributed through the initiative to 8.5 million.

To date, the project has covered 106 hectares, providing oxygen equivalent to the annual needs of approximately 759,265 people. The initiative also focuses on social impact by involving women in climate-affected regions in the seed processing stage to support local communities. Customers can participate by purchasing “Dost” brand dairy products and tracking the seeds' growth via QR codes on the packaging.
