Bimeda launches MoxiSolv Pour-On for cattle parasite control

Bimeda has expanded its anti-parasitic portfolio with the launch of MoxiSolv Pour-On, an FDA-approved topical parasiticide containing 0.5% moxidectin. The product serves as a bioequivalent alternative to Elanco’s Cydectin Pour-On and is available in 5 L and 10 L sizes.

Designed for beef and dairy cattle of all ages, including lactating cows, MoxiSolv Pour-On treats gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, cattle grubs, mites, lice, and horn flies. The formulation offers a zero-day milk withdrawal and a short pre-slaughter withdrawal period, providing more flexibility for producers than avermectin-based products.

Manufactured in the United States, the product includes a purple dye for visible application and is formulated for consistent absorption. Additionally, the moxidectin formulation is noted for being dung-beetle friendly, which supports soil health and natural parasite control by helping disperse manure.
