Binah producers receive equipment to support agroecology

In the Binah prefecture of Togo, four top producers practicing agroecology were awarded agricultural equipment to encourage the use of biofertilizers and biopesticides. The donation, valued at 475,000 CFA francs, included tools such as wheelbarrows, shovels, watering cans, gloves, and an Android mobile phone.

The initiative is part of the ‘Programme d’amélioration de la résilience des systèmes de production et d’alimentation (PARSYPA)’, implemented by the Research-Action Group for Development Education (GRED) with financial support from ‘Brot für die Welt’. The project aims to improve food security, nutrition, and socio-economic conditions across 22 communities in the Plateaux and Kara regions.
