Binance Bitcoin reserves reach two-year high of 693,000 BTC

Binance's Bitcoin reserves have reached a two-year high, exceeding 693,000 BTC. This represents approximately 30% of all Bitcoin held across major cryptocurrency exchanges, following an increase of roughly 77,000 BTC since late April.

While rising exchange balances are often viewed as a signal for potential selling pressure, analysts suggest the increase may not be a direct precursor to a price drop. Factors contributing to the surge include Binance's Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) purchasing plans, investors moving assets for liquidity, and security-related transfers following the Coldcard incident.

Simultaneously, Bitcoin is facing technical resistance between $83,000 and $86,000. This zone contains a high concentration of supply from long-term holders, which could act as a price ceiling if investors decide to realize profits at these levels.
