Binance lists MarsCoin (MARSCOIN) on its spot market

Binance has announced the addition of the memecoin MarsCoin (MARSCOIN) to its spot market. The cryptocurrency will be available for trading through three pairs: MARSCOIN/USDT, MARSCOIN/USDC, and MARSCOIN/TRY. The listing includes the application of a ‘Seed Tag’, a risk marker Binance uses for early-stage projects that requires users to complete a risk assessment before trading.

Following the announcement, MARSCOIN experienced significant price volatility, with reports indicating a surge of approximately 50% to 66% within a 24-hour period. The coin’s market capitalization reached approximately $172 million during this rally. This marks the third time in roughly a month that Binance has integrated MARSCOIN into its ecosystem, following previous moves involving Binance Alpha and perpetual contracts.

The memecoin has historical ties to Binance founder Changpeng Zhao and Elon Musk, stemming from social media interactions regarding a ‘Mars coin’ several years ago. Binance also confirmed that MARSCOIN will be integrated into various services, including Simple Earn, Buy Crypto, Convert, Margin, and VIP Loan.
