Binance partners with Kazakhstan to develop digital finance hub
Binance has entered into multiple agreements with Kazakh authorities to expand its digital finance footprint and establish a regional settlement hub in Kazakhstan.
Through memorandums of understanding with the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development and the Astana International Financial Centre, Binance will explore digital asset infrastructure, innovative payment solutions, and the potential issuance of a stablecoin. The partnership also aims to improve tax and judicial approaches regarding digital assets.
Additionally, the National Bank of Kazakhstan has signed an agreement with Binance to develop a regional settlement hub. This hub will focus on international payments and money transfers for clients across Central Asia, the CIS, and Eastern Europe. To support this, Binance intends to establish a local entity and apply for a license to operate as a first-category payment organization, potentially transferring a significant portion of its regional operations to the country.
