Binance to reintroduce prepaid card in Argentina by 2026

Binance is set to make its prepaid card available in Argentina again under certain conditions starting in mid-2026. The platform previously launched a physical international prepaid card in the country in July 2022, making Argentina the first Latin American nation to host the product.

The card functions through a partnership with Mastercard, allowing users to link their digital wallets to the card. When making purchases, the system performs real-time currency conversion, selling the necessary fraction of cryptocurrency, such as USDT, to cover the local currency cost of the transaction. While the initial rollout featured physical cards, the service has transitioned to a virtual format.
