Binance Wallet enables USDT gas fee payments on four networks

Binance Wallet has introduced a new feature allowing users to pay blockchain gas fees using USDT across four major networks: BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, and TRON. This update aims to resolve a common friction point in cryptocurrency transactions where users were previously required to hold a network’s native token—such as ETH, SOL, or TRX—to facilitate transfers.

Under this new system, the wallet handles the underlying gas payment on the user's behalf by deducting the equivalent cost in USDT. Binance stated that network fees are still directed to blockchain validators rather than the company.

As part of the rollout, a promotional period for the TRON network is active from September 23 through December 22, 2026, during which qualifying TRON transfers will incur zero gas fees. Following this promotion, the standard fee for TRON transfers is expected to settle at 1 USDT per transaction.
