Binews launches Abella historical series and Cona Hospital honors surgeon

Binews has launched a new serialized storytelling project titled ‘Abella, i giorni dell’arena’ to promote the historical heritage of the ancient Abella amphitheater. The series uses fictional characters, such as a young gladiator named Lucio, to provide an emotional connection to the Roman era and encourage interest in visiting the site.

In Ferrara, the Cona Hospital has dedicated its lung cancer PDTA (Diagnostic Therapeutic Assistance Pathway) room to the memory of Pio Maniscalco. A thoracic surgeon who passed away last year, Maniscalco was recognized by colleagues for his decisive role in developing integrated care pathways for lung cancer patients and for his mentorship of young medical professionals.
