BingX EU secures MiCA license in Austria for European expansion

BingX EU, operating under the legal entity MEGE zweite GmbH, has secured a Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) license from Austria’s Financial Market Authority (FMA). This authorization allows the platform to provide regulated cryptocurrency services across the European Economic Area (EEA), pending the completion of passporting arrangements.

The approved services include crypto asset custody and management, exchanges between cryptocurrencies and conventional money, crypto-to-crypto exchanges, and the transfer of digital assets for clients. The license is intended to facilitate BingX’s expansion into 29 EEA markets by providing a unified regulatory framework focused on transparency, security, and investor protection.

Daniel Lai, Chief Executive Officer of BingX EU, stated that the priority is to offer European users a trusted and locally regulated trading experience. The company intends to use the MiCA framework to support both retail and institutional participation in the digital asset ecosystem while maintaining high standards of accountability.
