Binh Dien Fertilizer pivots to green agriculture solutions

Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (BFC), a member of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem), recently marked the 30th anniversary of its Scientific Council. The company is shifting its focus from merely providing fertilizer products to developing a comprehensive ecosystem of solutions for green and sustainable agriculture.

For the 2026-2030 period, the company aims to integrate science, technology, innovation, and data to address challenges such as climate change, soil degradation, and greenhouse gas emissions. Binh Dien plans to expand its research collaborations with various institutes and universities to bring scientific achievements into practical production.

Existing partnerships include working with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) on rice straw treatment processes and microbial solutions to inhibit greenhouse gases, as well as smart coffee cultivation programs.
