Binus School students exceed global IB average scores

Students at Binus School have achieved International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme 2026 scores that exceed global averages. According to data from the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), the school's average subject score reached 5.2, surpassing the global average of 4.9.

Binus School Simprug reported that its IB results have remained above the world average for 18 consecutive years. The school also highlighted successes in the Cambridge curriculum. Reports from Cambridge International indicate that 87 percent of Binus School students achieved results in the Outstanding, High, or Good categories for the Cambridge Checkpoint. Additionally, 25 percent of students earned A or A* grades in the 2026 Cambridge A Level exams.

School Director Sherrierose Garcia Gonzales attributed these academic milestones to the hard work of students and the support of teachers and parents. The school noted that these results are intended to prepare students for higher education, with graduates gaining admission to various international institutions, such as the University of Pennsylvania and University College London, as well as prominent Indonesian universities including the University of Indonesia and Bandung Institute of Technology.
