Binz recognized as a luxury vacation destination on Rügen

Binz, located on the island of Rügen, has been ranked as one of Germany’s most luxurious vacation destinations. According to an evaluation by travel operator Fit Reisen, Binz secured fifth place in a study of German seaside resorts. The ranking was based on factors such as the density of five-star hotels and star-rated restaurants, luxury shopping, and proximity to golf courses, relative to the town's area.

Binz is characterized by its historic bathing architecture, a five-kilometer sandy beach, and a prominent pier. While it is recognized as a fashionable and high-density luxury hub, it is also noted for being a location where tourism is a central part of daily life. Other nearby seaside resorts on Rügen, such as Sellin and Göhren, offer different atmospheres, with Sellin known for its restored historical villas and Göhren providing a quieter, more original experience compared to the bustling center of Binz.
