Bio Extratus marks 35 years with light show on Rio's Christ the Redeemer

On 5 August, the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro will host a special projection to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Bio Extratus, a Brazilian company known for natural hair‑care and personal‑care cosmetics. The event launches an institutional partnership with the sanctuary to support social, environmental and professional‑training initiatives, such as the "Projeto Banho de Amor" and hairstylist‑training courses.

The celebration coincides with Bio Extratus’s recent expansion: a new manufacturing unit opened in 2026 and a planned 20 % increase in production capacity by year‑end. Marketing director Thiana Gomes said the projection symbolizes a new phase of collaboration focused on dignity, sustainability and community impact.
