Bio Farma and 23 Century Medical Group partner for stem cell therapy

PT Bio Farma (Persero) and Malaysia-based 23 Century Medical Group Sdn Bhd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore cooperation in the field of cellular therapy and regenerative medicine.

The partnership focuses on the registration, commercialization, and distribution of products based on stem cells and/or secretomes within Indonesia. This collaboration aims to expand Bio Farma’s capabilities in life sciences and strengthen Indonesia's national health resilience and biotechnology ecosystem.

Representatives from both companies, including Bio Farma's CEO Shadiq Akasya and 23 Century Medical Group's CEO Dr. Angelina Tiah, participated in the signing ceremony in Jakarta. The initiative seeks to ensure that advanced medical innovations meet regulatory standards and quality requirements while addressing the needs of the national health system.
