Biobé health officials meet to improve regional medical services

Health sector stakeholders in the Biobé sanitary district, located in the Roro sub-prefecture of the Lac-Iro department, convened on October 23 to evaluate and enhance local healthcare services. The meeting, presided over by Roro Sub-Prefect Ousmane Adam Bichara, focused on reviewing activities conducted between July and September.

During the session, Biobé's chief medical officer, Youssouf Abdelkerim, presented the district's achievements alongside significant operational challenges. Key obstacles identified include a lack of financial resources and insufficient medical equipment, both of which restrict the effectiveness of local health facilities.

The committee aims to formulate practical recommendations to optimize patient care and ensure the smooth functioning of regional health structures. Sub-Prefect Bichara urged participants to collaborate on solutions tailored to the specific realities of the district to improve service delivery for local residents.
