BioCirc Group reports significant first-half growth and Microsoft deal

BioCirc Group reported a significant improvement in its first-half results for 2026, with revenue reaching 814 million DKK. The company’s reported EBITDA rose to 141 million DKK, representing a 123% increase compared to the same period last year.

Key drivers for this growth include the commissioning of the world’s largest biogas-based carbon capture and storage (CCS) plant in Vesthimmerland. Additionally, BioCirc secured a seven-year agreement with Microsoft to sell 650,000 Carbon Removal Units (CRUs). The company is currently scaling its BECCS platform, with three of five planned CCS plants already operational, aiming to remove 120,200 tons of CO2 annually.
